August  6, Rocks & more Rocks 9, 
with Elke Scholz, EXA
10 am to 4 pm, held at High Falls, Bracebridge
Back by request this favourite is a thorough study of rocks.   Study drawing rocks and painting rocks. Lots of demos and very encouraging.  

August 7, 8, Reflections with Elke Scholz, EXA10 am to 4 pm Baysville Curling Club Lounge, Baysville .  Also back by request. This workshop can be attended after Rocks & more Rocks or on it's own.  Discover the art of Muskoka reflections, trees, light dancing on the water and the deep mysteries of the lakes. Lots of demos and very encouraging.  

 

August 23, 24 Landscape Value Sketching on Location at Brooklands Farms, Milford Bay with Elke Scholz, EXA 10 am to 4 pm

This popular workshop focuses on values in the landscape.  How to train your eye for colour values and how to translate them onto paper. In the morning students will concentrate on sketching and in the afternoon rendering a value painting from their sketch.
